Budva (general)
Budva, Montenegro. Around 15000 inhabitants, sometimes called Jewel of Adriatic and Montenegro. This is the oldest town on the eastern Adriatic coast, with old name "Butua" mentioned by Sophocles. Budva riviera is stretched along 20 kilometers of beautiful coast and have more than fifty small villages, manu historical monuments, Mediterranean climate with olive trees who's age goes back to beginning of first millennium. Budva is undoubtedly a Montenegrin tourist road cross, it grows and each host close to as much visitors as the rest of Montenegro coast all together.
Two kilometers long beach that once long time ago were proclaimed the most beautiful beach in Mediterranean, today touristic area with manu coastal hotels and private apartments.
An exclusive area filled with pine trees, lots of greenery, Milocer used to be residential resort of Yugoslav king Alexander. This is prime region with rich vegetation and exceptional Queen's Beach. Today, along with Sveti Stefan this is the resort for wealthy tourists that came all over the world to enjoy the untouched royal feeling this place leaves to its visitors.
Sveti Stefan once was a medieval fortification, a shelter to protect its inhabitants, today Sveti Stefan is turned into prestigious hotel-town on water, serving the demanding needs of high profile guests. Lately the area around and hill above Sveti Stefan are becoming popular due to great sight and newly built facilities.
Technically Petrovac is part of Budva municipality but this small town, popular amongst tourists that looks for "Budva but in more quiet way" has more than enough to offer to hold its own. Great beaches and nature, old fortress "Kastel", nice hotels and peaceful atmosphere.
Jaz is auto camp with accompanied beach on a driving way to Tivat and Kotor Bay. Very nice sea and sandy beach, easily accessible with parking space.
