3rd Wedding Anniversary.

Tang Li had prepared a table full of dishes and was waiting for Huo Chenyu to come back.

All the gifts are ready, two months of handmade work, now placed in the carefully chosen gift box.

In the living room, on the crystal TV, a famous interview with singer Lin Yiyun was playing.

Smiling brightly in front of the camera, she admits:

"Yes, I'm getting married."

Before he could think much, the sound of someone opening the door came from outside.

Ho Shenyu is back.

Tang Li greeted him as he came, seeing Huo Chenyu with empty hands.

He's not coming empty-handed, he actually brought his briefcase today. He must be rushing back to have dinner with us, so he even brought work along.

He didn't bring a gift for the anniversary. Tang Li felt a moment of disappointment, but quickly recovered his composure.

As usual, Huo Chenyu washed his hands and sat down.

On the television, the camera zoomed in on Lin Yiyun's face. As Tang Li poured hot soup for Huo Shenyu, she chuckled and said:

"He's about to star as a general, and just announced his marriage. It's double happiness!"

When Tang Li said these things normally, Huo Chenyu would ignore her.

Today, his hand holding the chopsticks was slightly stiff, and he didn't even reach for the soup Tang Li handed him.

Tang Li shifted her attention to Huo Chen Yu, asking softly:

"What's wrong?"

Ho Chenyu withdrew his thoughts, took the soup, and drank a mouthful before lowering his head to ask:

I thought he was worried about work, so I figured he needed a quiet dinner at home.

On the television, the interview with Lin Yi-yun was still continuing.

Host asks:

After you get married, will you retire from the entertainment industry?

Lin Yiyun hesitated for a moment, then nodded and said:

"Yes."

The host was stunned, but Lin Yiyun laughed with a face full of happiness.

“My husband is very supportive of my performing career. It was my own decision to retire, and this major production will be my swan song.”

Though shocked by the news, the host still managed to remain composed and said:

"Therefore, this highly anticipated IP adaptation will put a final period to your acting career."

At the dinner table.

Tang Li would occasionally glance at Huo Chenyu, noticing that he didn't seem to have much appetite.

After much deliberation, Tang Li still couldn't help but ask:

"Do you have something on your mind?"

He Chenyu put down his chopsticks and looked at the gift box on the tea table, then asked:

"Today is our third wedding anniversary?"

So he remembers.

Tang Li laughed and got up, preparing to get the gift box and give him a surprise.

But Huo Chenyu grabbed him, looking straight into his eyes and said:

"Tang Li, I have a gift for you."

He brought a gift!

He actually brought a gift!

Tang Li nodded eagerly and watched Huo Chen Yu get up to retrieve his briefcase from the hallway.

He sat back down, and Tang Li thought to himself, could this be the legendary "CEO street"?

I heard that the domineering CEO Huo Chenyu bought an entire street. Tang Li had never inquired about this matter.

Although she didn't care about that street, she liked anything Ho Chenyu gave her.

As expected, Huo Chenyu took out a document from his briefcase.

He stared at the document in his hand for several seconds, as if he had made up his mind. Then, he handed the document to Tang Li:

"Look, if you have no objections, just sign on the dotted line."

Tang Li's smile was as bright as a flower, her pear-shaped lips intoxicating.

When he saw the large characters on the file, his smile froze and he was stunned.
